How Do I...

Checkout Policies

To locate books available in Torreyson Library, type in the search terms and click Go.  

ARKLink is a program where you can receive a special library card that allows you to check out books from over 30 academic libraries in Arkansas.

To get an ARKLink card you must be current UCA student, faculty, or staff in good standing with Torreyson Library and must complete a registration form.

Registration may be done online or at the Circulation Desk.

Distance Education students who register online will have their card delivered to the address they provide on the registration form.

All other patrons who register online can pick up their card at the Torreyson Library Circulation Desk.

Checkout period, renewal rules etc. are determined by the home library and will vary from library to library. Typical checkout period among member libraries in tARKLink is 15 to 30 days.

All ARKLink cards expire at the end of each semester, but may be reactivated at the beginning of the following semester.

If you are currently enrolled or employed at another college or university which participates in ARKLink, you may borrow materials from Torreyson library.

At the time of check out, you will need an ARKLink Card, available through your library, and an ID issued by your institution. Only your home library can register you for an ARKLink card.

ARKLink members may check out up to three books for a loan period of 28 days. ARKLink members are not elgible ot check out laptops or DVDs.
