How Do I...

You may checkout library materials if you are:

• a currently enrolled UCA student;
• a UCA faculty member;
• a UCA staff member;

Furthermore, you may checkout library materials, with the exception of DVDs and Laptops, if you are:

• a current member of the Alumni Association;
• a currently enrolled student and faculty of Hendrix College and Central Baptist College;
• a currently enrolled student and facutly/staff of a participating ARKLink institution;
• have been approved for circulation privileges by the Circulation Department.

All borrowers must present one of the following forms of valid and current identification:

• UCA photo ID;
• Alumni Association ID;
• Hendrix College or Central Baptist College ID;
• ARKLink ID with your college or university ID.

Borrowers are responsible for all materials borrowed with their identification.

Alumni Assocation Members with a current Assocation ID card may check out items from the library. They are allowed 3 items for a loan period of 28 days.

Alumni members may not check out laptops or DVD's. Also, Alumni members do not have access to the library's online databases outside of the library.

Anyone can join the UCA Alumni Association even if they have no previous association with the university.

The cost is $35.00 and we can assist you in filling out the membership form.

Once you have completed the form and paid the membership fee, you will have borrowing privileges at Torreyson library for a year.

Students, faculty, and staff of Hendrix College and Central Baptist College with a current ID may check out items from Torreyson Library. They are allowed 3 items for a loan period of 28 days or the end of the semester.

Hendrix and CBC affilates are not allowed to check out laptops or DVD's. Nor do they have access to the library's online databases outside of the library. 

If you are currently enrolled or employed at another college or university which participates in ARKLink, you may borrow materials from Torreyson library.

At the time of check out, you will need an ARKLink Card, available through your library, and an ID issued by your institution. Only your home library can register you for an ARKLink card.

ARKLink members may check out up to three books for a loan period of 28 days. ARKLink members are not elgible ot check out laptops or DVDs.
