WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research". If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.

A service provided by Torreyson Library in which we borrow resources (books, articles, and etc.), from other libraries.

This service is provided to all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. Please see the FAQ for more information.

ILL and Summer Borrowing for Students

Interlibrary loan during the Summer is only available to students who are enrolled in Summer courses or who are continuing academic research.  If you are a student who will not be enrolled in a Summer course but you require ILL services during the Summer, please contact Tim Purkiss at ill@uca.edu or 501-450-5205 to discuss options. 

ILL Will Not Borrow Textbooks for Students

Interlibrary Loan typically will not accept loan requests from students for textbooks.  If you have questions about this policy or have a special circumstance requiring a textbook, please contact the ILL Office at 450-5205 or email us at ill@uca.edu.
