Welcome

Music Resource Center

The Music Resource Center is located on the second floor of Torreyson Library. The Music Resource Center includes the Music Collection and Listening Lab.  Reserve services are also provided for faculty and their classes.

The Music Collection includes scores, collected works of composers, biographies about composers and performing artists, and "how to" books about music. Faculty and students can check out these materials.  The Music Collection also houses Music Reference materials for general research.

The Listening Lab has 8 listening carrels with CD, DVD, LD, Audiocassette, VHS and LP formats.  Music recordings are available in many formats.  Only faculty, staff, and graduate students can check these materials out of the building. This facility also archives the recital recordings for the Snow Fine Arts Music Department. The recital recordings are available for in-house listening only.

Donations
The Music Library accepts donations of select material in good condition. For information, contact the Music Resource Center at 501-450-3413.
